When a coffee tree bears fruit, it produces a ripe red cherry usually consisting of two portions on the inside. These portions grow into coffee beans. As there are two and they are in a round cherry, we get the typical coffee bean which is rounded on the outside and flat on the inside. Very rarely, in only about 2% of the time, one side of one side never developed and hence never split. This leaves a small fully rounded shape bean the chance to develop. These little oval shaped beans are known as PEABERRY and they are considered the highest grade of coffee bean. Being round, these unique and flavorful Kona Peaberry Coffee beans roast very evenly, sealing in their flavor.

Not only is the round Peaberry Bean rare to find off the tree, but due to the high demand, this Hawaiian Coffee is often very scarce. We are very lucky to have some in stock. From December to April of this year we were unable to get any. This little bean truly is the ‘Best of the Best!’ Pure Hawaiian 100% Kona Peaberry Coffee.

This is the highest grade of 100% pure Kona Coffee! In addition we are proud to offer our full bodied 100% Kona Prime Coffee as well.

We can offer this fantastic coffee in Ground or Whole Bean variant. However we suggest you get the whole bean and grind it yourself. Your coffee will be freshly roasted and will have a shelf life of six months. Once you open the bag, we suggest rerolling it tightly and clipping it, or using a Ziploc bag or an air-tight container, and keeping it stored in your refrigerator to preserve freshness. Everyone should spoil themselves and try Peaberry at least once!
